The term special needs is used to describe people who need help with a disability, which may be medical, psychological or spiritual in nature. These include autism, Down syndrome, dyslexia, blindness, cystic fibrosis etc.

In an ideal world, every mother and father plans to raise their children for 18 years and then let them live their own independent lives for about 30 years in the hope that their children will return to care for them in their final years. But, in our case, we have to raise our kids for the rest of our lives and then we have the added pressure of making a plan for their lives when we're gone.

In this book, i have put together ways you can first, improve your child's attitude, sharpen their communication skills, encourage and teach them how to express their emotions in preparation for the future and secondly, highlight certain ways to secure an independent future for them.

Now, i think i'm spilling too much tea..... anyways, i've got something for you parents of special needs kids in there as well.
