Minnie has been in love with the same man since she was old enough to squirt glue all over him, but for some absurd reason, he runs the other way when he sees her come toward him. When she happens upon him at her job, she tells him he's afraid of her and all but dares him to go out with her. A double date with her best friend—his sister Athena—takes them into uncharted territory.
Don Weston has intense feelings for the last woman in the world he wants to marry. Minnie is nice enough, but she's way too much like his sister for things to be able to work out between them. When he accepts her challenge to go out with him, he hopes that seeing her spend time with his sister will make him feel like she's his sister too.
