A Dangerous Creatures Novella

Gabriel has been in hiding. Ever since being kidnapped and tortured by werewolves, then being turned into one of them, he's had to keep a low profile. Werewolves are a hunted species, considered dangerous to mankind. If he was found, he'd be put down. Even though he's taken over the pack and tamed others who have come to call him alpha, the humans wouldn't want him in their midst.

Neither would the woman he loves. It's better if she thinks he's dead.

Mina Swanson has always been a hunter, but she never put more effort into her work since Gabriel was murdered by shifters. His body was never found. They rarely leave one behind. She's still on a mission, and when she and her team find a pack of wild werewolves, their plan is simple.

Go in. Dispatch the pack. Get out. Get paid.

Except for when she and her team are caught, and the wild creatures prepare to cook Mina alive over an open fire.
