Heather swore she'd never go back to Aruka after a mission gone bad. The planet had an archaic view of women and Heather fought against those views, angering one man to the point of madness. Now Earth has requested she rescue a missing girl on that planet. She wants to say no, but Storm has already accepted for her as long as he accompanies her.
It should have been a quick in and out assignment, not a planet wide search. To complicate matters, the man she fought years ago learns she's back on the planet and wants revenge. Now Heather has to complete her mission while evading the man whose only goal is to make Heather pay for her crimes.
