This e-book of IJPSM focuses on the role that accredited postgraduate programmes in public leadership and management can play in fostering personal and organisational development in the public sector. The seven papers in this e-book can be considered as falling into three sub-themes labelled as 'Context, Curricula, and Conditions'. It is hoped that this collection of articles will encourage debates and reflections about how accredited leadership and management programmes can best develop public practitioners to make a real difference for the citizens and communities that they serve.
