My experiences in Algeria, France, and the United States have affected my life. The title, "Where is Freedom?" reflects the turmoil I encountered throughout youth and adulthood. As a woman, mother, and educator, I fought for my social status under the threat of terrorism, which started in my native country, Algeria, in the 1990s. Now, it has spread across the world. Despite difficult moments, I have learned to survive in different environments. My search for freedom, peace, and serenity has strengthened me. Regardless of what happens in North Africa, Europe or North America, today, I stand up as a woman.
