Determined not to let her blindness prevent her living life to the full, Judy Taylor trained as a teacher and successfully taught sighted children in local secondary schools Her independence was assured by her devoted guide dogs She married and brought up two sons In 1987 an operation restored 25% of normal vision and Judy Taylor saw her husband and sons for the first time She movingly described the difficult process of learning to see again
