The five contributions in this e-book give a very clear picture of the complexities of cultural and psychological factors as constraints on perceiving, capturing, interpretation and implementation of management knowledge. The contributing authors were required to discuss knowledge transfer from the point of view of both absorption and application meant that by building on recently published literature they were able to highlight subtleties and nuances that appear to be disconcerting in practice, yet so far considered to be of minor significance to KM researchers.
