'Fun for the third time—and the best yet!' —Gyles Brandreth

Do you know what a blue moon is? Or what Marie Antoinette really said? Can you solve the three hats puzzle? Or the three bags puzzle? Can you name the Heinz 57 varieties?

Yet More Mind-Bending Puzzles and Fascinating Facts is the third volume in a series, presenting puzzles and facts ranked from Easy to Fiendish, to interest and challenge readers of all ages. The book progresses from Pobbles and pub names, to the philosophy of Wittgenstein, and mind-bending mathematical proofs. It contains entertaining snippets and devious brainteasers, presenting the curious and the contradictory, and tackling myths and misconceptions.

Paul Williams was born in Bristol and attained an MA in Maths, Psychology and Philosophy from Balliol College, Oxford. Paul lectured in social work at the University of Reading from 1991 to 2007, when he retired. He is author or co-author of books on self-advocacy by people with learning difficulties, on social work with those people, and on anti-oppressive practice in health and social care.
