Uncle Wiggily's Fortune is a children's book written by Howard Roger Garis, first published in 1928. The story follows the adventures of Uncle Wiggily, a rabbit, and his animal friends as they try to find the treasure of the old pirate, Captain Kidd. Uncle Wiggily and his friends set out on a journey to find the treasure, but they are pursued by the sly fox, who is determined to steal the treasure for himself. Along the way, they encounter several obstacles and challenges, but with their quick wits and teamwork, they are able to overcome them. Finally, Uncle Wiggily and his friends reach the location of the treasure, but they are surprised to find that it is not a chest full of gold and jewels, but rather a collection of rare and valuable books. The treasure turns out to be more valuable than they had ever imagined, and they return home happy and content with their discovery.
