The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was written by Samuel Clemens who was one American known for his strong opinions and willingness to stand against injustice. Twain lived from 1853-1910. Many a student has read this book because Twain is also known for his ability to captivate the old and the young. This book is about friendship and living life on your own terms. This is a very interesting story of adventure, friendship and search for lost treasure on the Mississippi. Written in the southern dialect this is one more way this Pulitzer Prize winning author draws his audience in to these tall tales. This is truly a good read that anyone can relate to.
