Gilly's search leads her to Bran—a dark, disturbing stranger who awakens powers within her that she may not be able to control. Bran tells her of an ancient god who can help her defeat the Snow Queen, if Gilly is willing to pay a terrible price. The demons must be banished by Twelfth Night, or the town will be lost. But to do it, Gilly may have to sacrifice everything that matters to her—including her soul.
