Volume 2 contains the Tribal Court Handbook and the laws, rules and schedules followed by the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Dakota, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, the Indian Child Welfare Act, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, the Federal Rules of Evidence, the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, and the State Court Rules Index

The volumes are heavily annotated with case notes derived from decisions of the South Dakota Supreme Court and appropriate Federal Courts.
